It was just another morning when I boarded the cab for work. In my usual conversation, I noticed that the accent of the driver was quite European. Out of curiosity, I asked him if driving a cab was his passion or profession.
He smiled and gently responded—he works for a US firm and has been doing so for the last 22 years. The firm pays him once a year, in a lump sum. To function on the remaining days, he works as a cab driver. In one line, he summed it up: when you find strength in your weaknesses, nothing is difficult.
“I enjoy both my jobs, and life is great.”
It was time for me to inboard and leave with a positive note.
Find strength in your weakness.
